I already love BBC food recipes from a Google search, but the app is a True 'game changer'. With an affordable subscription fee, you have access to an amazing array of healthy, easy to make, delicious recipes to suit the whole family. I highly recommend it; give it a go, you truly will not be disappointed

I'm just trying to view a recipe on the website, why am I being forced to download an app? I can see the recipe behind the popup. Edit: And then in the app I can't view the recipe without signing up for a subscription! Why not say that on the website?

The recipes are great but technically it always goes wrong- randomly requiring signing in, not starting at all, or now requiring an update, which sends you on a loop that requires uninstalling and reinstalling. As another reviewer notes, the subscription isn't worth it. It would be if it worked all the time...

0 reason for this app to exist, you have to pay to see exactly what you can see on the website for free? Pointless Edit: in response to the comment, using "no ads" as a talking point is daft, of course it is, you have to pay for it. Can't think of why there isn't a free, ad-included service aside from it being too much of a hassle to maintain/organise. Instead, let's provide a service to a much smaller pool of whales who can justify this expenditure each month. Hoorah!

I got the app partly for the recipes and partly to read the features from the newsletter. I thought by paying for the app, I would read the features ad-free. But I can't. So what's the point in paying? Customer services has been of no help whatsoever. I'm very disappointed that a BBC product is so user unfriendly.

Whilst it has a great choice of recipes...Since I've had to start paying a subscription, this app has gone downhill. Runs very slow, and it doesn't keep you logged in anymore. Bit rubbish really. I thought the extra income would have brought in major improvements
