  The e scooters work great when they work. Unfortunately they often seem to think they're on the sidewalk when they're not. It makes traversing some parts of the city difficult as you have to push the thing until it decides you're okay to ride again. And parking it is also difficult as (again) it incorrectly detects the location and tells you you can't park there, even when you're literally parked on the parking pad. Very, very frustrating experience.

  Buggy, wastes your time. When we started there were two scooters but one wouldn't unlock, saying it was outside the allowed zone (which it was not). Once we found a second one, we had a happy 5 minutes until mine stopped, saying I had left the service area (wife's was still fine). Spent the next 20 minutes trying to get it to start again (never did) or end the trip, which it also wouldn't do because of its confusion. Had to restart the app a few times. Edit: Got a speedy refund for the trip.

  First time giving the orange scooters a shot, and I had fun. There are two critics I have for them, and that's the zoning (not being able to ride in certain areas) and the speed (if only it went a bit faster.) Maybe an opportunity to scale on pricing on the service in exchange for a faster scooter. I think this would enhance the experience further.

  We were travelling as a group of 4. One of the scooters malfunctioned and was stick in 'no riding' mode even when we were back in a riding zone. Screen displayed a wrench symbol showing there was a maintenance issue with it. After walking it back to a parking zone had lots of trouble with the terrible location tracking of the app so it wouldnt allow us to end trip all the while it kept charging us time for usage. Called their support line only to get a voicemail. Wont use again. Avoid!!

  The app itself is a cool concept, though I spent my first 3 minutes of my ride putting the helmet on, figuring out how to use the device and actually get going. It is a fun way to get around but constantly having to stop to check my phone on how long I've been on it or to check my maps is a bit annoying considering you're paying for time not distance. I also think the price per minute could be cheaper. But the devices themselves are very entertaining to use.
