The Simple Compass display shows degrees and compass points (N, E, S, W) and indicates magnetic heading. Calibration guidance appears when sensor adjustment is needed and a declination option lets you view true north where location data is available. Readings update continuously while the app runs.
Hold the device flat and allow sensors to stabilize. Follow on-screen calibration prompts if shown, use the declination toggle to adjust for local variation, and verify readings against a known reference when precise orientation is required.
