  Wow! This app went from great to unusable. Everything is great except for the fact that commercials on the listen live are literally twice as loud as the broadcast. If you're listening on headphones or speaker close to your ear be prepared to have your ear drums blown out.

  08/10/21 Been using this app for years. It's always been a bit buggy, but the new release had rendered the app completely useless, especially on firestick. Have reinstalled it multiple times. Still extremely slow or unresponsive, locks up, and kicks you out. What a disaster

  The selection of news ia pretty good. Should be MORE on events or problems or issues other than The Virus. The SOUND is messed up, tho, all thru the videos. Has been for a week or more. The first 5 to 20 seconds repeats, sometimes more than once. Sounds also breaks up, crackles, during the video. All the videos.

  Half the time, when you tap on a notification about a specific news story, the app comes up but then goes to a different story. Then, because there is no search feature, you just have to scroll and scroll and scroll until you find the article you were going there for in the first place. Not worth the hassle. Uninstalling.

  I think it's a bit of a mess. I don't know if I'm watching the actual Live Now news or not. I figure I'm not because there's too much new news out there that I'm not seeing here, and I don't see listed in the news clips list, which goes on and on with stories they have, or are, reporting and maybe updating on.

  For years the NBC News app showed several days of complete segments for news shows, such as The Rachel Maddow Show, without requiring a cable login. So you could watch whole shows by watching these segments in order. This was a great public service. And it was very convenient, because you could watch the whole show, or just the segments you were interested in. Recently it switched to short excerpts, so all you get is about 10 minutes of a 40 minute show. I uninstalled the app.
