I've been using this app since 2014. Through many updates and changes, some I liked better than others, the app has been consistent in providing an easier and great trail experience. I recently had an issue with uploading previously purchased sections/trails on the new edition, FarOut, but with an email to customer service I was walked through a clear and honest experience to restore them, Thank you Tyler. I look forward to continuing to use, support and recommend FarOut.

It was really good on my Colorado trail thru hike, but recently it has become next to impossible to open it. The last time I tried, the app showed me a load screen for nearly half an hour before I gave up and closed out of it. I have tried putting my phone on airplane mode, restarting my phone, restarting the app, but nothing seems to work.

Samsung Galaxy 5 android version 6.01. required 3 attempts to open the app. If you keep the app open you can avoid this. l was on the PCT and attempted to make a custom route. The app forced close and I was never able to use the app again, it would load then force close again. I have switched back to the original Guthook PCT version (when I reached Big Bear ) and will be using the tried and True. even though I can't make custom routes in the Sierra section. I would recommend the original GHpct

info sometimes unreliable, some places don't exist anymore, supplemented by the comments thankfully. i wish it would remember my last recorded location after i disable location services instead of how eagerly it forgets. i wish you could easily scroll back to the top of the comments without the scroll carrying on to close the location selection you're looking at. i wish the list was fully in mileage order, instead of the spur trails being listed at the end. custom elevation colors would be nice
